Certified Nurse Practitioner

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be working with patients who have suffered injuries from auto accidents, work related incidents (Workers Comp), and other personal injuries

  • Examining clients

  • Diagnosing issues

  • Assessing treatment plans

  • Overall treatment of patients

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current NP Licensure in the State of Maryland

  • DEA licensure required

  • Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting (at least 1 year)

  • Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices

  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations

  • Solid understanding of billing and coding

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong ethics

  • Team spirit with a positive attitude

  • Patience and cool-headedness

  • Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience

  • Perform non-clinical tasks as required (e.g. reporting, vaccination temperature management, maintain clinic appearance)

  • Administer IV Drip Therapy and Intramuscular (IM) Shots to deliver our menu of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

  • Educate clients on the qualities and benefits of our IV Drip and Intramuscular (IM) Shot ingredients.

  • Utilize blood test offerings to help clients optimize their wellness.

  • Promote memberships and medical services based on client needs.

  • Document client visits via electronic medical records.

  • Address and answer client questions under the supervision of the Medical Director and network of licensed Advanced Practice Providers.

  • Communicate to the medical compliance team any issues or adverse effects clients experience.

  • Provide therapeutic communication along with exceptional customer service

  • Assist staff with store services.

  • Assist with off-site nursing events and special projects.

  • This position reports to the Medical Director.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

  • Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests

  • Examine patients and their medical records

  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)

  • Diagnose health conditions and illnesses

  • Perform patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations

  • Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment

  • Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options

  • Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity

  • Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases

  • Prescribe medications

  • Maintain accurate records and schedules

  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications

  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention

  • Oversee patients’ overall health

  • Promote good health practices
